The High Commission of Sri Lanka in Wellington was pleased to welcome the New Zealand delegates participating in the Youth Model United Nations 2026 in New Zealand, representing Sri Lanka at the conference.
During their visit, the delegates met with the High Commissioner of Sri Lanka to New Zealand Mr. Prasanna Gamage, and officials of the High Commission for an engaging discussion on Sri Lanka's foreign policy, the country's active engagement with the United Nations, the role and functions of the High Commission, and the experiences and responsibilities of diplomatic representatives.
The High Commissioner commended the delegates for their enthusiasm and wished them every success in their academic and professional pursuits.
